Man Climbing Building

Good afternoon folks. This past few days I was able to visit a couple Cincinnati parks with Stacey, one of my co-workers. We came across the idea because we had a 35 check point scavenger list to do for Toyota (to get us acquainted with the area). But since we’ve already been in Cincinnati for 6 weeks, we thought it best just to visit the places that would be of interest to us. That being the case, the Kentucky Speedway and Loveland, Kentucky didn’t get a visit from us. The picture I have on this post is at Eden Park. We randomly came across this fellow climbing the side of a municipal building. I didn’t know that you could really climb buildings like that – not a whole lot to grab on to. At any pace, if you click on his picture, you’ll see my other pictures from Cincinnati; I may have uploaded 6 pictures.
Things are going well so far down here. I am slowly getting used to the area and I can drive around now with confidence. Toyota training is getting better too. This past Friday we were able to test out 6 different competitor cars to the Toyota Camry. It was pretty fun and a good use of a Friday afternoon. Next week I will be out of town in Princeton, Indiana touring TMMI (Toyota Motor Mfg. Indiana) and there we’ll get to see vehicles on the production line and learn about TPS (Toyota Production System). And, believe it or not, Toyota has more acronyms than the U.S. Government, Army, Navy, etc. Believe it. They gave us an extensive reference manual full of them, perhaps for us to memorize.
This coming weekend my parents will be visiting Cincinnati, so that should be a good weekend. The following weekend I will be in Rochester for Vicki’s wedding; I’m excited. And that is all for today, I should really start to work on my Saturday.
Love,
Cory
